Someone has rightly observed that we often build our identities around our defects. We say,'it just like me to be' and 'it's just the way I am'. This can easily lead to a defeatist attitude. Rather than being hard on ourselves we need to allow only God to shine the light of his truth on our faults, failures and hang ups and its only then should we begin to look at them and work on them.
It is Good News to know that God became human and lived among us of full of grace and truth. Jesus knows our weaknesses, He was tempted just like we are and yet was without sin, and because of that He is able to lead us out of weakness into great strength.
Eventually he came to the Samaritan village of Sychar, near the field that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.'s well was there; and Jesus, tired from the long walk, sat wearily beside the well about noontime. John 4:5-6
Are you facing physical, emotional and spiritual tiredness, then remember you have a saviour friend who wants to strengthen you, so you continue to fulfil God's desire for your life today.
But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength they will soar high on wings like eagles they will run and not grow weary they will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40
